Starter Guide to Club Penguin

Hello everyone and welcome to the Starter Guide for Club Penguin! Let's get started.

First of all, to play Club Penguin, you need to create a new penguin account. If you already have an account then proceed to the next step or if you haven't, follow these instructions.

CREATING AN ACCOUNT

1) Go to Play Now page, then click on Create a Penguin button. It will take you to this site (image below).

2) Then, you need to fill up all the form. Enter your penguin name (Note: It should not be your real name). Enter your penguin password. Parent's email address (Note: It is required or otherwise you will not be able to activate your penguin account.) Choose a color of your penguin. Lastly, tick the Terms and Conditions. (Ask your parents to read the terms given.)

3) Once you've done filling up the form, click Next. Wait for a few minutes, then it will brought you to this page that said Activation Email Sent. Now you need to activate your penguin account by opening the email you used just now.

4) Tell your parents/Login using your email account to check the activation email. Simply click the Activate Penguin! button to activate.

5) Then it will redirect you to the Activate Your Child's Penguin page. There you'll see two options, Standard Safe Chat Mode and Ultimate Safe Chat Mode (Read the description on each option). And then choose your own. Once done, click Activate!.

6) Some features requires paid membership. Ask your parents in case if you want to be a member on Club Penguin. If so, then click on Unlimited Play and it'll bring you to the Membership page (Read more about the Membership features here.) Click on Limited Play to continue with non-members penguin account.

7) It will redirect you to the Login page where you need to login using your penguin account. Once logged in, a tour guide penguin will appears and welcoming you to Club Penguin.

Hey, [Penguin Name] ‒ Welcome to Club Penguin! I'm a tour guide and this is my pet puffle. Let's look around!

There's always tons of stuff to do all over the island... Like games ‒ play them to earn coins!

 Coins can buy stuff like clothes, furniture, pets, and more.

Here's a map for you to keep. Click it!

There are a few places to check out right away. You'll even collect rewards! Click the "!"

Click the "!" and another options will popup. Choose what you want to do first. Find the Clothes Shop, Find the Pet Shop or Find Your Igloo.

You'll be rewarded with some items once you've done.

Great! You found three important places. But there's WAY more! Use your map to explore.

You can meet friends, dress up, play games, be a ninja, a superstar, a secret agent or ANYTHING else! Have SO much fun! See ya later!

And that's it! Congratulations, you're now ready to begin the journey of the fun virtual world of Club Penguin! Do whatever you want as told by the Tour Guide.
